Brave the Stage is an opportunity for our company members to run towards the fear and strengthen the onstage skills that scare them the most. It’s easy to rely on the things we do well, what happens when we run towards the things that we don’t?
From brand new Teen Company members to Artistic Director and Co Founder, Jayme Tinti, Brave the Stage
features artists at all stages of their artistic careers leaning into the things that scare them. Artists have spent the summer studying stage combat, burlesque, classical pieces, music, and everything in between!
Company members are matched
with an artist in the community or company that will serve as their mentor to strengthen those skills. Community partners include artists from The Savannah Sweet Tease Burlesque Revue, Collective Face Theatre Ensemble, and local artist and musician Josephine Johnson.
Bringing this one night only showcase of sweeping acts of bravery to the stage are company members Lexi

In this Americanized musical stage version adapted from the 1997 British film of the same name, six unemployed Buffalo steelworkers, low on both cash and prospects, decide to present a strip act at a local club after seeing their wives' enthusiasm for a touring company of Chippendales. As they prepare for the show, working through their fears, self-consciousness, and anxieties, they overcome their inner demons and find strength in their camaraderie.
